Soccer...Soccer...Soccer!

Really hard for me to believe...but the day is almost here!

A group of 12 of us leave for Uganda, Monday the 4th.

What a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow, and serve.

Already, I have seen God at work in the preperation of this trip. Let me tell you about the wonderful things God has already done.

First, Geneveive's cousin works at an indoor soccer dome. For this trip, he was able to donate, 21 soccer balls and 16 adult uniforms! How exciting!

Second, Kathleen was able to make 200 salvation braclets and has extra material to make 700 more!

Lastly, there was talk about getting a volleyball set for the village we will be in. We'll see how that works out.

What an amazing response already.

Praise God.

Thanks to all of you who donated...
Thanks to all who have committed to pray...
Thanks to all who are reading...

We'll try to update the blog everyday.

In the meantime, we board the plane for London around 5pm on the 4th. God willing, we should arive in Kampala sometime on the 5th. If I've heard right around 10:10pm their time.

Pray for God to be with us during the flight...
Pray for God to open our eyes to the Ugandan culture...
Pray for God to work in the hearts of the people there in Gulu...
